Silvia Mandolini, violin
Silvia Mandolini and Brigitte Poulin gave their first recital together in 1994. This first meeting resulted in twenty years of faithful friendship between Bologna and Montreal. The music that inhabits their respective environments has woven the continuity, the guide of their explorations from one continent to another. Together, they have performed in Canada and Italy: among others at the Toronto Music Gallery with the participation of Two-New-Hours (CBC), the Chapelle historique du Bon-Pasteur in Montréal with the participation of Radio-Canada, at the Venice Biennale, and the Milano Musica Festival.
Reviews
The music wears well and leaves you with a feeling of satisfaction that one has encountered significant modern contemporary music.
